Biography

Mr. Pool joined Middleby in 2008 following the company’s acquisition of TurboChef Technologies. Most recently Mr. Pool was a group president where he had direct responsibility for the company’s brands that were focused on developing advanced technologies. In this role he directed the brand initiatives and product development to support the long-term Middleby strategy. In 2020 he led the design and planning of the newly completed state-of-the-art Middleby Innovation Kitchens outside of Dallas, Texas. Mr. Pool joined TurboChef in 1995 and led the engineering efforts to develop the company’s rapid and accelerated cooking ovens, which since their introductions continue to change the landscape of traditional foodservice. He has a background as both a chef and mechanical engineer.
